A third-prize Powerball ticket was sold at a New Hyde Park 7-Eleven, located at 1599 Hillside Avenue, according to New York Lottery officials.

The ticket has four matching numbers plus the Powerball and is worth $50,000.

According to officials, the winning numbers for the May 24 Powerball drawing are 12, 21, 44, 50, 58, and Powerball 26.

To securely check a ticket, players can use the New York Lottery app.

Draw game tickets expire one year after the drawing date.
